• Well known to BOP, well known about nipple up/down BOP.
• Making up BHA.
• Knowledge & experience of work on Top Drive System.
• Supervision of mud and circulating system.
• Leading role in rig move, rigging up and rigging down.
• Maintaining Emergency equipment in good condition and configured as required.
• Performing the drilling department's daily checklists, i.e. QHSE checks, mast/Derrick inspection, choke and kill manifold set up, etc.
• Maintaining and organizing drilling equipment store, tubular and subs inventory.
• Proper communication with the Driller, Tool pusher, and other department heads.
• Assisting the Driller in maintaining records and logs.
• Actively participating in pre-tour meeting with the drilling crew for all drilling operations.
• Assisting the Driller during an emergency or well control situation; assist in the well killing operations.
• Experience in running and cementing casing strings, running and retrieving BOP and risers, and other operations as directed by the Driller or Tool pusher.
• Monitoring of all drilling systems and equipment and ensuring it is maintained in safe and working condition.
• Ensuring that the operations are planned, organized, supervised and executed in accordance with well programs, rig move plans and company requirements.
• Ensuring that operation on the rig floor is carried out with safe and acceptable practices within the company guidelines and respecting the priority of safety procedures.
• Participating actively in safety discussions, safety drills, and regular inspections (especially daily checks to well control equipment and other safety equipment).
• Capable of quickly evacuating the facility to avoid injury during emergencies. Also provide assistance with regard to rescue operation for injuries or overcome personnel.
• Experience in general maintenance of draw works, rotary transmission, and rotary table oils.
• Inspections of all safety equipment, TIW valve, inside BOP valve, choke manifold and accumulator unit.
