- I have practical experience working in Western India Shipyard Limited, which is a full-fledged ship repair and ship construction yard having a floating dry dock, 210 mts in length
- I have a good experience in all steel fabrication jobs required for ship repair, welding, docking/undocking of ships, block setting of ships prior to docking, preparing block setting details using the docking plan, operation of the floating drydocks, blasting and painting of ships, etc
- I also have experience of working as an owners representative for a conversion project giving me experience in all the Quality, records, and reporting jobs
- In the tenure of my all the above jobs I have practically come across and worked on ship / marine drawings like the shell expansion plan, general arrangement, capacity plan, mid-ship section, bulkhead details, hull offset table, docking plans etc which is required for Ship Construction / Ship repair / Ship Design It has also made me familiar with the requirements of the major Classification Societies for executing Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, conversion projects and Ship Surveys, etc
