With over two decades of professional experience in Software/IT, I have demonstrated expertise in Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing & Implementation across a spectrum of Data Warehousing Projects, both on cloud and on-premise. Notably, I have amassed proficiency in the various cloud technology and its various services.

In my current capacity as a Senior Technology Architect, I have seamlessly transitioned through various roles such as developer, data modeler, project lead, and offshore/on-site coordinator, consistently delivering successful outcomes in diverse projects. My adeptness in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is evident, encompassing requirements gathering, implementation, development, production, support, and comprehensive documentation.

In my cloud journey, I've played a pivotal role in migrating on-premises data lakes to Azure platforms. This includes hands-on experience in the seamless transition of data and workloads, leveraging the capabilities of these cloud environments to optimize performance and scalability.

Specifically, my proficiency in Informatica ETL tools encompasses the creation of IICS/Powercenter mappings, sessions, and workflows. I am well-versed in various Informatica cleansing techniques, parallelism, and transformation methodologies. Furthermore, my expertise extends to Ab Initio, where I have worked extensively on GDE configuration, connecting, and testing components to generate executable flow graphs in UNIX environments.

Additionally, I possess in-depth knowledge of Knowledge Transfer (KT) processes, having successfully transitioned knowledge to other vendors/teams and diligently documented and implemented the same. As part of team building initiatives within the organization, I have conducted KT sessions, further contributing to organizational knowledge transfer and growth.

Description:

Client is a leading North America Bank having operations across the world offering plethora of banking,  insurance products and services to its clients. 

The purpose of the project is to support the client’s modernization of Key Business processes and technology.  FC-ETL modernization is one of the initiatives which aims to improvise AML data processes and provide agility  by using UDAIP platform and to make it more scalable.

The purpose of the solution is  

• Create a unified data platform, for scalable operations and analytics
• Design of ‘load ready’ process of sourcing Harmonized data stored in the Enterprise Landing Zone (ELZ) and transforming it as per Informatica BDM mapping logic
• Modernize the technology stack. Convert Informatica BDM mappings to Spark Scala to enable flexibility & agility
• De-tokenization capability
• Convert existing Audit control framework to Scala
• Autosys jobs to be recreated / rationalized for new Scala program
• Deploying converted code in Azure Cloud

Roles and Responsibilities:  

• As a Solution Architect my responsibilities included
• Requirement elicitations and translation to technical specifications
• Designing and solutioning of various components of conversion and Azure cloud migration program
• Provide inputs on solution architecture based on evaluation/understanding of solution alternatives, frameworks and products
• Anchor proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk.
• Work with cross work streams, and determining solution design impacting the core frameworks and components
• Identifying and creating different Automation and reusable components
• Perform performance optimizations on Spark Scala program
• Prepare estimations, release plan and road map for future releases
• Participate in Cloud solution design and ensure the current solution is cloud ready
