• Monitor the assigned operations scope to ensure personnel perform all work to agreed standards for safety, health and environment and commitment to attaining high levels of HSE performance.
• Closely monitor and coordinate to concerned departments for proper execution and implementation of Permit to Work at Site.
• Resolve minor HSE issues and observations at site, recording issues and observations for corrections and actions for further learning trends and raise major issues for greater awareness and resolution at higher levels if required.
• Stop the job whenever unsafe acts or conditions are noted or in the absence of required safe work permits/safe work plans.
• Carry out daily site safety inspections / coverage to ensure only safe methods are in operation. Adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used, sufficient and appropriate PPE provided and properly worn.
• Checks and ensures compliance of site work force with the approved Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Safe Work Permit System and standard procedures at Site
• Advises the Project Management through the Safety Supervisor as a result of field safety monitoring on ways to improve existing work methods to prevent accidents/incidents.
• Identified unforeseen safety hazards which may affect health and welfare of site employees and their execution of work.
• Encourage all trades to safety consciousness during safety tool box meeting and suggest ways of improving safety as well as preventing loss and damaged to equipment and materials.
• Audits Permits and 3rd. Party Certificates at sites to ensure that work is being done with valid permits and approved tools, tackles and equipment's are being used at site.
• Conducting Construction Field Safety survey, managing day to day operations and initiatives for maintaining sound Environment and Safety management.
• Conducting Safety Inspection, Fire Equipment Inspection, Preparing Safety Audit reports, Work as a First aider, Team member of Risk assessment, Hazard Identification, Accident/Incident Investigation, Emergency Rescue plan, Conducting Emergency Mock drills.
