The successful candidate, Dr. Atri Saha will deliver high-quality instruction, conduct original research, and contribute to the academic community through teaching, research, and service. This role is ideal for a scholar with a strong foundation in political theory and a specialization in international relations, geopolitics, and conflict resolution, with a specific focus on the foreign policy of Nehru.

  • Research and Publication:Conduct original, high-quality research, with a focus on nationalism, cosmopolitanism, and Nehru's foreign policy.
    Publish findings in reputable academic journals, books, and other scholarly outlets.
    Present research at national and international conferences.
    Seek external funding opportunities to support research projects.
  • Service and Administration: Participate in departmental meetings, and serve on college and departmental committees. Advise student organizations, and contribute to the intellectual life of the college.
    Stay current with developments in the field by engaging with current literature and attending professional development activities. Contribute to the university's mission, and engagement with the broader academic community.

Qualification:

A Ph.D. In political science from a recognized institution. Dr. Saha earned her Ph.D. From the University of Burdwan.
