- The EWOFC project joined Eastern Nepal (Bhadrapur) to Western Nepal (Nepalgunj) through a 24F optical fiber, 900 km network.
- The concept is to have a telecom superhighway through optical cable.
- Carried out installation, commissioning, and testing of SIEMENS SDH equipment, viz. (STM-1, STM-4, and STM-16).
- Installation includes the erection of an ETSI rack, ODF, DDF, FTC (with PCM cable), sub-rack, and C-channel fittings runway.
- Commissioning, local, link testing, and acceptance testing were done at 40 stations out of a total of 79 stations.
