Avinaba Mukherjee

I am Avinaba Mukherjee, a third-year Second semester undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's in Metallurgical and Material Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. I have been associated with our department since 2022 and have been actively engaged in academic learning, laboratory research, and interdisciplinary projects to deepen my understanding of materials science and metallurgy. During the course, I was involved in interdepartmental research training and projects to improve my understanding of research methodologies, laboratory work cultures, and the role of material engineering in different fields of science and research while also developing my analytical skills.

Throughout my academic journey, I have gained a deep understanding of metallurgy and its various branches, including physical, mechanical, and extractive metallurgy. Additionally, I have acquired knowledge in materials science, corrosion properties of materials, and their practical applications during my lab courses. I am eager to engage in focused and meaningful research in this field. I am dedicated to doing my best, learning quickly, and always ready to explore new technologies in materials science and engineering.
