  • Experience in greenfield project setup for Li-ion cell production, involving supplier selection and equipment evaluation.

  • Exide Energy Solution ltd. India: Currently, working with Exide energy in green field project to build India's biggest Gigafactory for production of Li-Ion cells (Prismatic & Cylindrical). My roles involved identifying suppliers which are capable for setting up a project of this magnitude. I worked on preparing the RFP which were floated to prospective suppliers for getting suppliers proposals. The proposals were then evaluated based on supplier matrix and the best suppliers were onboarded for this project. we are in the stage of finalizing the FAT with the suppliers post detailed technical agreement, sales and service agreement, LOI, 3D review of equipment's with them.
  • ATL Battery Technology ltd. India (I&C): Project leader responsible for Installation & commissioning of pouch cell assembly line within the timeline. I was trained by CATL, China team for I&C and I passed on the knowledge to my team, making them skilled to carry out the tasks involved in I &C of cell assembly line.
  • SAT at ATL, India: I worked with CATL, China team to carry out Site acceptance testing (SAT) at ATL, India. This involved smooth startup of all assembly machines, dry running of machines with no load and eventually running the machines at full load capacity to prove the endurance and machine capability.
  • Production Ramp-Up at ATL, India: Post successful I &C, I was given the task of ramping up production, which involved taking the equipment's to their full production capacity. This was done in a span of 3months, and I got appreciation from management for this achievement.
  • Overhead cost optimization postproduction at ATL, India: Postproduction stabilization, I was given a task of optimizing the overhead cost, I took up a project on lean management which included: Waste elimination on TIMWOOD principles, material rejection root cause analysis, operator multi skilling to improve their productivity and utilization at various stations. At the end of this project the yield was improved from 95% to 98%.
