Dear Sir/Madam, I'm writing to express my interest in Configuration Manager role. I have about 9 years of experience as a Production support, Product data management, Product life cycle management and engineering change management engineer and during this time I have managed a shop floor in a CNC machining industry for manufacturing supervision, CNC and CMM Programming, material management and also for quality control mainly involving automotive parts. I have also worked under payroll of HCL Technologies for ASM FEMS involving in ECO projects, generation of OMS for various project lines and modules, End of Life(Obsolescence) projects, Large assembly management, BOM Management, PCP One- Pager, GD&T, 3D Modelling and drafting. From the last 4 years 9 months I have been working at Applied Materials India as a Senior Product Configuration Management Engineer with extensive knowledge in Product line Management, Product Data Management and Configuration Management of various product lines, program management, project management, Product Structure Engineering, Non Standard requests and ESWs and responsible for Configuration accuracy of tool to be shipped to customer. I am also involved in using problem solving tools like 5Why, FMEA, FMECA, 8D, Cause and effect analysis. I am currently leading a team of 7 Configuration Management Engineers, hence, I will be responsible for work load distribution/assignment, presenting team metrics to executives and liaising between various departments and the team. I have worked in various aspects such as Production Data analysis, BoM & Master BoM data, Manufacturing, supply chain management, OMS, Engineering Change Management resulting in acquiring good knowledge on Team Center, SAP PLM & ERP, Multi Level BoM, VC(Variant configurator), Configuration Management, Project Management, Product Structure control and management through ECO.
