I am passionate about solving India's biggest entrepreneurship challenge: bringing opportunities to small cities and towns. As Editor at RizingBharat, I've spent 2 years diving deep into India's grassroots business ecosystem, and honestly, I can't imagine doing anything else.
My journey has taken me close to the real problems entrepreneurs face in Tier 2-3-4 cities. I've worked closely with CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises), creating content around how they're tackling credit challenges for small businesses. I've collaborated with IDBI Bank, interviewing their General Manager to understand why MSMEs and startups in smaller cities struggle with funding. This isn't just work for me—it's personal.
Through this journey, I've built a network of founders, investors, and key people from institutions like SIDBI and the Ministry of MSME. But more importantly, I've seen the real gaps: weak ecosystems, lack of financial awareness, limited AIFs, missing incubators, and entrepreneurs who have incredible ideas but nowhere to turn.
This is exactly why I'm excited about this role. My goal is simple: foster entrepreneurship in India's smaller cities by highlighting these problems and helping solve them. I genuinely believe that India's next wave of innovation will come from these places, and I want to be part of making that happen.
My experience directly aligns with your requirements: I understand Bharat audiences deeply through my work with Tier 2-3 entrepreneurs, have proven content strategy leadership, possess mandatory Hindi proficiency, and demonstrate the storytelling obsession and grassroots entrepreneurship focus you're seeking. My hands-on experience interviewing ecosystem stakeholders and organizing events shows my commitment to nurturing India's startup landscape.
