  • Obtain approvals for release of Purchase Orders as per delegation of authority , Issue Purchase Orders and follow up to get the materials at right time
  • Manage risks with suppliers by performing comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation plan
  • Generate MIS related to procurement and submit to relevant stake holders
  • Negotiate with partner, create and manage supplier agreements for the sourcing of products/ services
  • Coordination with Outsourced partner/ Finance department for the timely release to payment
  • Co-ordinated for the payment by TT and LC as per the agreed milestone to the imported equipment supplier
  • Co-ordinated to deliver high value and high volume equipment at site with completing all formalities of SEZ, Bank which was landed in India by air or Sea mode
  • Co-ordinate for internal and external audits and maintain necessary records and compliance
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and work towards reduction of Lead-Times
  • Identify and drive value from the suppliers in scope by identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
  • Work towards implementation of procurement strategy and focus on the processes in terms of: TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) concepts / Contract documentation & administration
  • Identify new vendors when necessary and ensure that the appropriate Supplier selection/management practices are applied to the selection and management of all suppliers

  • Finalization of annual scrap contract for the plant
