In-Charge from Tata Steel to ensure TATA's way for all Jamshedpur based contract manufacturing units (and steel service centers).

Managing annual contract value of US$ 200 million, and value creation of US$ 500 million.
Working with 2 direct reportees, also indirectly managing a workforce of 2000 from plant heads, operational heads to shop floor workers of the partner organizations responsible for Planning and Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Finance and Accounts, Environment Health & Safety, Information Technology.
Establishing & Driving improvements in Systems & Processes for better Quality, Safety, Health and Environment.

Auditing, Nurturing & Training to upgrade Partners' units to Benchmark in-house facilities through cross functional collaborations with respective functional experts and agencies.

Capacity and resource planning, customer sign-off, through planning (Raw Material to Finished Goods), Chart out operational regimes to create win-win proposition for Tata Steel and the customer.

Performance review with relevant KPIs and formats to record what went well and what could have been better to chart out next course of actions.

Maintaining & controlling healthy inventory pipeline to ensure smooth operation as well well as low working capital, also FIFO (first IN first OUT) and quick disposal of wasteful inventory.

Ensuring Material Reconciliation and Bill Certification and timely payments to Partners.

Directly Manage following units:-

TSDPL : India's Largest Steel Service Centre Organization. Managing 3 of its Jamshedpur based plants with an annual capacity of 1200 KT; TSDPL HR, TSDPL CR, TSDPL Demag with World Class Slitting, Cut To Length, and Roll Forming Lines for flat strip steel products (Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled, and Galvanized).

BMW Manift : annual capacity of 200 KT, slitting, Cut to Length.
Indian Steel & Wire Products Ltd (a subsidiary of Tata Steel Ltd) : annual capacity of 300 KT, producing wire rods, and rebars (6, 8 & 10 mm diameters) branded as TATA TISCON.

Previous directly managed units:-
BMW CGL-3, Gamharia, having annual capacity of 500 KT Pickling, 200 KT Reversing Mill, Galvanizing & Profiling (corrugation) units processing two of the key TSL brands; TATA SHAKTEE, TATA KOSH.
Beekay Steel Industries Ltd, Gamharia, having annual capacity 400 KT steel rebars (8 to 40 mm diameters) with its 3 mills for producing one of the key TSL brands TATA TISCON.

Managed 250 KT of Tata Steel's Long Products business in Uttar Pradesh with annual turnover of US$ 200 million.
Handled 100 KT per annum "TATA TISCON" retail business following two tier distribution model with one distributor and 160 authorized retailers, and 40 KT project distribution business targeting SME customers.
Handled 50 KT per annum "TATA TISCON", servicing 200 plus direct customer accounts including the biggest of infra developers (the likes of Larsen & Toubro, Gammon, Soma, Kalptaru, Tata Projects, UP State Bridge Corporation, Public Works Department, Irrigation, and other state/ central govt. departments).
Handled 60 KT per annum of semis (billets) business, servicing most of the secondary rebar producers of North India. The accounts include the likes of Rathis, KL Steels, Rimijhim, and VVS group.

Achievements Retail :-
Territory mapping & implementation of RVM 2.0 (Retail Value Management). Volume increased by ~70% to 60 KTPA at a historic premium level of Rs 15K pmt. The market share, and reach up by 6 &11% respectively.
On seasonality (one of the key pain point), FY13 monsoon recorded consistent volumes at a premium level of Rs 15K pmt.
Led RVM 3.0 to take the volumes to 150 KT within FY14. To drive focus, the territory was divided into eastern, and central UP. The dealer count was increased to more than 300 within 2 months.


Achievemnts Project Distribution : -
Territory mapping & implementation of KVHS (Kar Vijay Har Shikhar). Volumes increased to 40KT from 8KT at historic premium levels.
Set-up Cut & Bend center of a capacity of 30KTPA through channel partner for rebar fabrication to offer complete customized rebar solution to SMEs & Retail.

Contirbuted inputs for PM Trophy for FY06/ 07/08, and for creating a roadmap of 10.2 MT hot metal production from TSL Jamshedpur.
