- Preparing revenue and cost forecast for current FY, actualizing revenues and cost for previous month for Trumbull business.
- Trumbull business had 4 LOBs: ASP, Subro Services, MedConnection, and LSS. Basically, the business had US-based clients (companies) that took insurance. Furthermore, if they required assistance in completing their applications, subrogation services, or needed assistance from the medical team to check and correct their documents, legal services for insurance cases filed in courts, they approached EXL for these services. We have different teams who work for these clients in operations, and we, as the FP&A team, handle the Revenues & Cost (BOI) for these clients.
- Conducted variance analysis for actuals vs. budget and forecast and provided explanations for identified variances.
- As an FP&A Analyst, we also calculated the monthly P4P given to the employees working for these clients.
- A quarterly business review (QBR) was done to find out the gaps between the forecast and actuals and reasons behind that, so those could be considered in future forecasting and improving analysis efficiency.
- We prepared backlogs for each client on a quarterly basis to know which clients will continue with EXL and which ones' contracts will end and discontinue our services.
- Contracted actual financial performance with budgets and projections using financial analysis to pinpoint key drivers and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Submission of all reports on Power BI and Qlik.
- Development of annual budgets, long-term plans, and quarterly forecasts.
