- Investigate and Monitor Financial activities and transactions for all types of customers (Low, Medium and High Risk) of First Abu Dhabi Bank which is one of the top banks in UAE.
- During investigation if any suspicious activity/transaction captured, raise RFI (Request for Information) and seek clarification on same from business with supporting documents to validate.
- Punctually report Suspicious transactions OR activities/Pattern, prepare Internal STRs and submit to MLRO for review, ensure that reports are prepared and Filled on time.
- Identify new trends/patterns emerging in relation to ML.
- As a process SME – been responsible to review and update procedure documents in calibration with onshore partner and to hold monthly learning session for team to drive “First time right“.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly calls with Onshore partner on SLA, breaches, and overall productivity.
- Share MOM with teams for any process related updates.
- Acting as SPOC for managing approvals emails to various departments.
- Review emails from bank staff specially RMs and clients to respond with the appropriate solution.
- Perform audits/Quality Checks on alerts reviewed by team to identify the gaps, and to minimise error counts and ensure increase in accuracy. Provide feedbacks to develop investigation process.
- Perform RCA during audits and share feedbacks with analyst and reporting managers.
- Recently moved to training team to give Transactions Monitoring process training to new hires. Till date trained above 100 FTEs in 4 batches (within last 8 months). Where accreditation score was 98.5%.

- Worked with GENPACT for 7 years as Process Developer under KYC/AML domain where I got opportunity to work for different banks like WESTPAC, Wells Fargo and St. George.
- Started with wells fargo for Loans and Distribution. Review of loan applications and process the loans based on documents provided.
- Later moved to KYC remediation where reviewed required documents based on customer type and update KYC as on going process.
- Later moved to Transaction Monitoring for Westpac to understand the transaction pattern and prepare the investigation to close alerts OR seek additional information to validate anomalies.
- Finally moved to quality and control team.
