• Plans including expenses, capital budgets and profit improvement targets. Analyses stock movement pattern at our location & other locations as per ABC Analysis Report & Aging Report. Placing orders ensure timely release of spares from Warehouse and from Local Transporter’s Godown.
• To handle inventory management function including material requirement, Planning, Procurement, Pricing, and Inventory Control. Developing new source of supply. Co ordinate market studies to understand market trend, competitor product/pricing etc. Promoting Sales of Spares through Sales Counter, Institutional Buyers, and Dealer Network & Local Workshops.
• Insurance Claim settlement on Spare Parts for Shortage/Damage/Wrong Supply of Spares. Lodge a monetary claim to New India Assurance Co. Regular follow up with surveyor, supplier & NIA for early and full settlement of the claim.
• Institutes and implements appropriate stores procedures including for Receipts, Issue & Inventory. Maintains up-to-date and accurate stores records and inventory accounting. Monitor stock level in the dept. to ensure minimum obstruction.
• Accounts Statement Reconciliation, Co-ordinates and attends the audit of Stores. Institutes & Maintains good house keeping practice in store. And all Parts and Service Reports.
