Turbine Maintenance Project Erection, Commissioning and Execution
Job Responsibility
Team leader and Specialist in Turbine Maintenance. Responsible for Equipment outage analysis, Predictive analytics of Turbine and its auxiliaries, Team management, Capital and Annual Overhaul Planning, Annual Business Planning for TMD including Spares Management and managing Dashboards for MIS reporting.
Digital Transformation:
· Steam Turbine and Generator overall health assessment through predictive analytics.
· Equipment data analysis through remote monitoring.
· Established a baseline that monitors overall equipment performance. Manages plant performance improvements based on Equipment health card (EHC) analysis.
· Use of tools for Data analysis to identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex datasets.
Contract Management:
· Prepare technical specifications and scope for Annual maintenance service contracts.
· Contract closure and reconciliation after work completion.
· Co-ordination with various suppliers like MHI Japan, HTC china, B&R Germany, Sulzer UK, Voith Germany etc. for erection of Equipment and removal discrepancies in respect of Erection and commissioning of the major equipment.
· Preparing requirement for vendor finalization for Capital and annual overhauls.
· Indigenization and standardization of spares to reduce maintenance cost and optimum utilization of resources.
· Prepare and consolidate the Department’s budgetary requirements and Annual Business Plan for consistent monitoring performance during the year.
· Inventory management by keeping the target of low maintenance cost while ensuring the smooth plant operation.
· Certification and processing of Vendor's RA bills.
Problem Solving:
· Timely identification and resolution of issues which may hamper the plant operation.
· Benchmarking of processes / Best PM / Repair Time and thereby reducing the turnaround time, maximizing equipment uptime.
· Provide Engineering solutions for the specific problems through Root Cause Failure Analysis
Planning :
· Project coordination from start to finish that includes planning, scope finalization, estimation, tracking & implementation of project plans within preset estimate/revenue budgets and deadlines.
· Planning and scheduling to meet the milestones during Capital, minor and forced overhauls.
· Define the maintenance strategy for the installed equipment in TG and Auxiliary.
· Develop and manage plant maintenance activities by utilizing Reliability centered maintenance techniques.
Team Development:
· Focus on talent and organizational development, develop an effective succession planning process, and creates a culture focused on continuous improvement.
· Driving Cultural shift to a workplace that fosters a stellar safety work record and encourages constant improvement in our safety metrics in order to meet established goals.·
· Ensure that team understands all aspects of prime contract relating to their respective responsibilities and demonstrate a thorough understanding of contract guidelines.
Completed one-year Training at JSW integrated steel plant at Bellary and later deputed to JSW Energy Barmer (8x135 MW CFBC).
