PROJECT NAME - GLOBAL RCMS IMPLEMENTATIONS

Receivable and Collections Management System(RCMS) is developed for Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) to cater to its regional collection processing requirements, and to provide its customers with value-added services. This system provides a complete collection processing facility, right from instrument entry to liquidation entry, accounting, and charges, etc.
Currently, RCMS Transactions is monitored through eBBs, so Mantas built the global component to monitor all RCMS Transactions, which we are implementing country-wise. As of now, the countries we have implemented are (AU, IN, ID, HK, MY, SG).

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Developed user stories, functional specification documents, and process flows to support the design and development solutions for the bank.
• Worked collaboratively with team members to prepare the mapping document based on data profiling for each product.
• Participated in key meetings with clients, including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user testing.
• Provided inputs to developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and developed business specifications to support these modifications.
• Liaised between business and technical personnel to ensure a mutual understanding of processes and applications.
• Communicated with clients to gather required support documents and further confirmation on existing behavior as-is flow.
• Reviewed test cases prepared by the TDE team.
• Data assessment is to be done once development is completed.
• Validating stitching logic and field-level mapping for the availability of data that makes up key fields. Organizing and presenting a walkthrough to the testing and development teams, and a demo to the users.
• Experienced in software testing on various products and applications.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

GCMS Application is enabled with uplift controls, which are dual blind check and duplicate check control. The dual blind check control is used to re-keen a few important parameters of payment that have been entered by the maker. The checker will act as a verifier and will re-keen defined fields. The duplicate check control has the ability to identify whether a payment is a duplicate based on the duplicate check criteria.

PROJECT: EBBS HARMONIZATION

This project is to ensure that the eight different versions of eBBS are consolidated into one single version of eBBS (eGold); hence, all the upstream and downstream applications have been asked to participate and ensure that BAU is not impacted during this upgrade.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and reviewing the Functional Specification Document, Use Case Documents, Reports, and the Interface Specification Documents.
• Reviewing the test cases received, and verifying the RTM.
• Organizing and presenting a walkthrough to the testing and development teams.
• Communicating with clients to gather required support documents, and further confirmation in case of existing behavior.
• Interfaced between development and testing teams during the testing and development life cycle.
• Checks implemented to avoid duplicate payments across all SWIFT message
• Successfully implemented this framework across all products of SCB
• Managed to reduce the TAT (Turnaround Time) for the validation of duplicate payments considerably.
