- Interact with the CFT (Cross-Functional Team) and lead design engineer.
- Perform 3D routing of the wiring harness with electrical properties, electronics component packaging, integration, clash analysis, and DMU.
- Involves the selection of harness protection covering (tape, sleeves, tubes, heat shielding tapes, and protector duct) for harnesses based on temperature class and other environmental packaging.
- Involves harnessing supplier export activity and generating CHS files and CAT part file extractions for 2D drawing creation.
- Releasing technical change content and drawing specifications to the supplier to develop the physical harness.
- Interacting effectively with the supplier for the technical clarification.
- Responsible for new product development, from the initial concept to the mass production lifecycle.
- Involving the plant vehicle-level harness assembly from prototype to mass production, analyzing the manufacturing and functional issues, and providing effective solutions.
