BVP Tool follows a process that includes Creating & Reviewing a Request, creating projects, Detail Estimating & Project Ranking. Requests are created, reviewed, and prioritized by the business and estimated by IT resulting in each project receiving a score based on financial and business value criteria. Collected data is then used to create a project from BVP in PPM. The business and IT add detailed cost and benefits information that result in a consolidated project summary, ready for review.
