• Involved in commissioning activities
• DCS functional test and loop check activities
• Field commissioning activities such as steam blowing, leak test, etc
• Pump MRT and OMRT operations
• Handling Tank form for Fixed roof (Cone & Dome type)
• Floating Roof tank (Internal & External)
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Calculates levels in tanks using basic math and instruments
• Communicates with other team members on tank line-ups and gauges prior loading/offloading/transferring
• Uses and understands instruments such as: flow meters, pressure gauges, and level transmitters
• Troubleshoots basic pump operation: cavitation, seal leaks, vibration, etc.
• Turns valves or initiates pumps to admit measured quantities of liquid from tanks/tank container/tankers into holding vessels or production vessels
• Loading and unloading operation
• Ensures closure of dome-lids following loading and unloading
• Perform hose/fitting connections, handle product hoses and perform pre/post loading equipment inspections
• Conducts weighing operations to include tanker truck/tractor trailer entry and exit via electronic scale
• Records measurements and calculates tank capacities on a regular basis

§ Monitor tank levels and transfer inventory in/out as needed

• Time Cycle Reduction for Batch Production Operations and Distillation Operations
• Pump calculations
• Productivity enhancement.
