Project Description: The Chrome web store is to identify new spam and trends in extensions by performing static/dynamic code testing, manual code inspection, threat modelling, design reviews, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and security defects so end users can easily download these apps securely.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Static code analysis (SAST) and Dynamic Code Analysis(DAST)
• Performed malware analysis using appropriate tools and techniques to detect malicious code activity.
• Performed security testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications and systems.
• Investigated security incidents, performed root cause analysis, and recommended corrective actions.
• Analyzed results from vulnerability scans to determine risk levels associated with identified threats.
• Performed root cause analysis on existing issues in order to determine corrective actions and raise bugs for suspicious applications to get confirmation from clients.
• Strong understanding of network protocols like SSL, HTTPS, TLS, and TCP/IP.
