Description

Led a project to integrate multiple healthcare systems into a centralized data platform for a large healthcare provider. The project included the migration of clinical, administrative, and patient data to a cloud-based environment. By using technologies such as Azure and Snowflake, we were able to reduce data silos and improve data accessibility. This enabled healthcare professionals to access a comprehensive, real-time view of patient information, which improved decision-making, patient care, and operational efficiency.

• Analyzed requirements, technical specifications, and data models for ETL mapping and process flow.
• Developed mappings using various transformations, including Aggregator, Lookup, and Filter.
• Created target definitions utilizing warehouse designer in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Employed unconnected Lookup Transformation to enhance mapping performance.

Description

Due to the restructuring of the organization, the position given is that of a test engineer, but I have been part of the development team, and the industry is mainly gaming and gambling.

• Loading data from different sources to Data Factory tables with the correct load counts, through mapping from Teradata and SQL Server DB.
• Monitoring of all the batch and real-time jobs of all the source systems as per their schedules through Informatica ETL jobs and Azure pipelines.
• Detecting and fixing any errors shown by the workflows or orchestrator through the logs, according to the nature of those errors.
• Deployment of new jobs, source systems, and applications based on the business requirements for Informatica and Azure pipelines.
• Increased the speed of data extraction by designing new mappings, workflows, and applications according to the needs of the business team.
• Backtracking and troubleshooting different errors in already present mappings, and applying a fix for them.
• Suggest new ideas for the automation of most of the production activities, to make monitoring easier.
• Various updates and the execution of SQL queries on the framework used for scheduling different jobs from all the sources.
• Checking for the smooth flow of data on Airflow. A detailed analysis of the error logs failed to detect problems in the workflows.

Worked on an insurance project, mainly at the claiming end.

• Develop ETL flows in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Migrate the PowerCenter code to IICS and implement the business requirements as per PowerCenter.
• Validate the mappings, MCTs, and task flows, and form the unit test in Informatica.
• Performed data manipulations using various Informatica transformations, such as Filter, Expression, Lookup (Connected and Unconnected), Aggregate, Update Strategy, Joiner, Router, Sorter, and Union and SCD's.
• Worked with the tools and databases Oracle, SQL Server, and Power BI application.
• Developed a couple of objects, such as mappings, MCTs, and task flows, in Informatica.
• Involved with planning, designing, and transforming Informatica workflows from on-premises.
