EdgeAI - 1 year (Sr Engineer Cslt)

EdgeAI is a shared K8s platform utilized by multiple teams to build and deploy their applications in an automated way. It provides most of the Big Data processing and analytics tools out of the box.

• Kick-started the EdgeAI team from scratch at offshore by gathering required skillset, understanding the system and executing a KT Plan. Started delivering from the 2nd Iteration.
• Acted as a team leader, delegating tasks and providing feedback.
• Identified impacts and designed solutions.
• Made design and engineering decisions.
• Prepared goals for the team with achievable targets and set up a path for team growth.

Laid down the plan to improve the SOE score. Got the SOE score up from 28 to 54 in 3 months span of time along with BAU deliverables.

SA Portal - 3 Years (Engineer II, Engineer III, Sr Engineer Cslt)

Sa Portal is a SPOG for all the applications under Service Assurance. In the current setup there are at least 10 applications involved in making sure the network is monitored continuously for a fault and automated end to end from receiving the alarms to making a dispatch and also the customers are notified in case of any planned or unplanned outages. All the above referred apps were legacy apps, and it was required to modernize all these into one umbrella.

• Started as a PO, prepared goals for the team with achievable targets and set up a path for team growth.
• Learned and adapted quickly to new technology and software applications.
• Transition from 5 Full time employees to 20 vendor resources.
• Delivered smooth vendor transition from one vendor to another without impacting deliverables. Got a spot award.
• Writing LLD's as a System Architect in the E2E Automation ART
• Worked with a lot of stakeholders to gather requirements.
  

MASTARS - 5 years (Software Engineer, Engineer II)

MASTARS is a system used by Verizon Field Engineers to create a maintenance requests on the Verizon devices. This helps in identifying impacted customers and notifying them. This also helps in correlating alarms from the network.

• As a developer was involved in gathering requirements in form of stories and delivering them on time and priority.
• Worked on Struts, Hibernate framework.
• Was able to quickly learn and was a key player in migrating the app from the old UI to a new UI.
• Worked on stitching data from multiple data sources for more accurate customer impact identification.
• Always tried making fun environment in the team with work.

Developed software applications using a variety of programming languages, including Java, C, and JavaScript.
In terms of technology, I utilized the following:

Client-Side: Core Java, JavaScript

Server-Side: Servlets, Struts, Web Services, Hibernate.

Database: Oracle.
