Key Responsibilities Tech Pack (TP) Review & Development Conduct TP review meetings at the initial stage to ensure all required technical details are available for accurate sample development. Create production measurement specifications based on block patterns; verify grading and ensure compliance with grading guidelines. Develop region-specific measurement specs (e.g., for Asia, Japan) according to size category requirements. Sample Development & Approval Initiate and coordinate sample development with relevant documentation (modular codes, workmanship manuals, etc.). Inspect construction quality, label placement, and overall garment workmanship. Conduct fit tests using international standard mannequins as per size specifications. Ensure previous sample comments are fully addressed and implemented in subsequent versions. Perform Physical vs. Virtual Comparison (PVC) checks to ensure measurement and fit accuracy. Production & Quality Assurance Lead initial sample review and pre-production handover meetings with cross-functional stakeholders including Merchants, Buyers, QA, Production, Materials, Planning, Embroidery, and Printing teams. Document PES/PWE comments in Flex PLM and maintain detailed sample measurement tracking reports. Conduct thorough 100% clockwise inspections using standardized checklists to ensure no detail is overlooked. Communicate fit issues and pattern corrections clearly to buyers and vendors for implementation. Vendor Management & Compliance Drive vendor development and manage end-to-end sample approvals (e.g., sealed samples) to meet brand standards. Ensure garments meet minimum construction quality standards and manufacturing tolerances. Maintain well-organized records of sample approvals, including documents and timelines. Conduct vendor factory audits with proper documentation to ensure regulatory and quality compliance. Identify and resolve technical issues related to fit, pattern, and grading before bulk production starts. Experience & Leadership Over 20 years of diverse experience in garment manufacturing, specializing in product development and technical execution. Strong leadership skills with a proactive attitude, emotional maturity, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Proven ability to make fast, strategic decisions to ensure product quality and production efficiency. Highly detail-oriented, self-driven, and results-focused professional with a successful track record in garment technical development.
