Description:

• Worked closely with customers, internal staff and other stakeholders , established plans and move multiple application databases from Oracle to postgresql(Azure PaaS). Performed infrastructure/ performance analysis to be able to arrive at optimal target system capacity.
• Built comprehensive data validation plans and performance baselines to be adhered to.
• Worked on ora2pg for schema migration and apache NiFi for data migration for various databases ranging from few hundred GBs to up to 6 TBs in size.
• Agile/Scrum framework was utilized and have participated in all sorts of agile ceremonies (user story grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospective).

• Smart PAYG(Pay as you go) is one of the prized processes of E.ON UK. With Government’s mandate in place with tight deadlines SMART meter adoption for B2C customers is extremely critical. The application is of high complexity due to decoupled architecture and lots of Governance related restrictions to follow. My role included application design, troubleshooting Production bugs(mostly performance oriented), Increase offshore vs. onshore headcount by helping team in being better equipped to own-up, leading team to ensure adherence to SPRINT schedules and also architecting performance improvement plans of bulk based jobs for the DWH. Used Agile Scrum and Kanban framework for project delivery.

Description:

Global Campaign Tracking is a foundational initiative in the DTP (Digital Transformation Program) to uplift online acquisition tracking and evaluation across 20 international markets. GCT delivered a flexible and maintainable solution across the various Interactive Campaign Tracking platforms that lead to a singular, complete, and robust view of Interactive marketing campaign performance. It supports appropriate investment optimization and timely business decision making through enhanced real-time campaign reporting.

Role: Senior Developer and analyst. Handled project alone without any onshore counterpart.

Responsibilities:

● Requirements gathering.

● Designed HLD and LLD documents.

● Writing Unit test cases, review plans, test plans and peer reviews.

● Coded workflows, Shell scripts, PLSQL code constructs, SQL queries.

Project Name: CSAR

LOB: Equities (Sales division)

Description: Integration of reporting layer of Merrill Lynch and Bank of America electronic trading platform. I was involved in impact analysis, design, coding and periodic review of the requirements. Since the initiative was completely new exhaustive testing was also expected . Hence, I was involved in unit testing, integration testing and black-box testing as well. The role demanded creating Informatica workflows, shell scripts and sql scripts for extraction, transformation and loading of data and there by getting data ready for report generation.

Input data to the system came from heterogeneous sources (like feed files, SQL server database, Oracle database and Netezza database) which used to arrive at a particular time. This used to trigger a stream of jobs. The data is first loaded to tables without any transformations. From primary level to secondary level transformations were allowed to attach proper dimensional data with the trades. From there data moves to the stage where revenue calculations took place and the trades get settled. Once the trades were settled they were moved to reporting layer from which report generation happened using the tool Actuate 9.

● Coded workflows, Mapplets, PLSQL Procedures, Embedded SQL queries in UNIX Shell scripts and Autosys JIL files.
