• (a) Design of curriculum:
• 1. Teaching Architecture design through references from various books and famous architects and imparting the requisite knowledge by guiding them into completions via experimentation.
• 2. Teaching Construction through demonstration, video resources and workshop to understand and encourage hands-on learning
• 3. Involved in framing of Working Drawing Syllabus to update it in reference to current Practices of Architecture adopted in 2018 new syllabus for V sem
• 4. Involved in framing of Building Construction and materials of Bamboo Structures adopted in 2015 and 2016 syllabus for VII sem
• 5. Involved in framing of Building Construction and material of Long span and Steel structures in 2018 syllabus for V sem.

• (b) Teaching methods:
• I. Architecture design VI Sem 2020 (Campus Design):
• 1. Presentations with visuals, Video clips on topics and sketching
• 2. Students were benefitted with the visuals shown with presentations related to the topics with better understanding of subject.
• 3. Site visits accompaniment and presentation of the same in studio to understand practical issues with Design of Campus.
• 4. Introduction of Books of critical appreciation and Philosophies adopted by various Architects.
• 5. A design portfolio was submitted by students, arriving at design solution.
• Ii. Building construction and materials V sem 2020 (Long Span and Steel Structures):
• 1. Presentations with visuals, Video clips on topic of various metal sections, types of trusses, introduction to geodesics and space frame etc through sketching ,drafting and modeling.
• 2. For VI Sem students’ hands site visit to the Industrial shed, to understand types of metal trusses and their applications.
• 3. Study models of types of different types of trusses to understand different types of joints were supported for the building construction studio.
• 4. Assignment of presenting Video clips on subject related topics gave students an opportunity to go through with documentary done on various kinds of roofing.
• 5. Workshop on Geodesic Domes was conducted to encourage Hands-on learning for the students of V Sem construction
• Iii. Architecture design III sem 2020 (Context based Design):
• 1. Presentations with visuals, Video clips on topics and sketching.
• 2. Introduction theories, ideas and application to context-based design and site analysis.
• 3. Site visits accompaniment and presentation of the same in studio to understand practical issues related to context-based design studio.
• 4. Encourage research on context and theory of context through net learning and presentation of the same in design studio
• (c) Laboratory experiments:
• I. Working Drawing VI sem 2020: Presentations with visuals, Video clips on topic of various interior finishes , market study and conversion of design drawings to working drawing in digital modes or Autocad drawings.
• Encourage market research on materials and their application in Working drawing Interiors like Glass,Plywood, Hardware, Sanitary fittings, Tiling, false ceiling ,Plumbing etc
• Assignment of presenting Video clips on subject related topics to gave students an opportunity to go through with site application mechanism for field understanding.
• (d) Evaluation methods:
• The subject knowledge was evaluated with the seminars for design oriented studio subject. Students were encouraged for use of various software for presentations.
• Studio subjects were evaluated for course projects done in the semester with progressive marking at various stages, giving credits for various aspects of the subject like knowledge and applications.
• (e) Preparation of recourse material including books, reading materials, laboratory manuals etc.:
• Preparation of presentation slides and course material of theory subjects viz. Architectural acoustics.
• (f) Remedial teaching/ student counseling (academic)
• For studio and computer lab subjects, students were guided even after the class hours for any difficulties in any subjects.
• Online classes were conducted to elevate any shortcoming and fear in students due to COVID pandemic.
• Counselling 20 students under Student Mentorship program.

• 1. Successfully coordinated and conducted workshop on “Fabrication and Construction of geodesic dome” for V sem Students of Architecture for hands-on learning on concepts of space frame geodesic structures at KLS Gogte institute of technology, Belgaum..
• 2. Successfully coordinated and conducted workshop on “3d Printing and Laser cutting” 14th - 15th Oct 2019 at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum. A total of 40 students of KLS GIT dept. of Architecture participated in the workshop through registration and the same was submitted as activity for Innovation Day .
