Research Associate

Santrupthi Engineers
04.2013 - 07.2014
  • Night Sky Radiation for cooling application.

Objectives: Feasibility study of NSR application with respect to Indian climate was done.

Governing equation for NSR with respect to cooling was established.

Lumped system approach was used to quantify the heat transfer rates between nocturnal radiator and atmosphere through analytical method for 12 hours in day at an interval of 10 minutes for 365 days for 9 different cities in India.

An experimental setup was done to support the hand calculations & a good correlation was established.
