THESIS- LAYING PERFORMANCE IN JAPANESE QUAILS(COTURNIX JAPONICA)FED WITH FERMENTED SOYA MEAL AS FEED SUPPLEMENT IN THE RATION, Thesis conducted determine the laying performance of Japanese quails (Coturnix japonica) fed with fermented soya paste as supplement in the ration. To determine the growth rate of quails from start of lay up to 2 months production 2. To determine and compare the number of eggs laid by quails fed with pure commercial feed and commercial feed with different inclusion rates of fermented soya paste as supplement in the ration., using fermented soya paste on quail laying production provides a significant effect on all the parameters set. The gain in weight, the sizes of eggs, the egg average weight, and FCR have observed a significantly improved. The fermented soya paste highly influences the laying performance of quail and the viability of production.
