  • As a Senior Data Analyst Manager, I single-handedly designed and implemented the complete process architecture for one of the bank’s most strategic transformation programs: migrating customers from Classic systems to Cloud platforms. This required deep data expertise, architectural thinking, and hands-on ownership across the full lifecycle—from customer identification to cohort management, blocker analysis, and migration execution. I developed a scalable and rule-based framework that classified customers into cohorts based on readiness, blockers, and product relationships. The system was built to handle real-time updates, exceptions, and product-level interdependencies across the bank’s portfolio—spanning deposits, lending, cards, investments, and digital products. To validate the design and ensure the architecture was robust, I created a comprehensive dummy data environment using Python, simulating real-world customer-product scenarios, blockers, and exceptions. This effort received strong appreciation from senior stakeholders as it allowed the entire architecture to be stress-tested and reviewed before real data was available. As a result, once the real data was ingested, the transition was smooth and required almost no changes to the original architecture—ensuring faster time-to-execution and minimal rework. Tools and Technologies Used:
  • Starburst (Trino): Leveraged for federated SQL queries and large-scale data analysis across multiple environments.
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Used extensively for processing, storage (BigQuery), and orchestration.
  • Google Cloud Storage (GCS): Managed raw, transformed, and final output datasets for different stages of the migration lifecycle.
  • Apache Airflow: Built and maintained DAGs to automate ingestion, transformation, cohort generation, and tracking pipelines.
  • Python: For automation, data simulation, and testing of the architecture with synthetic data prior to production rollout.

  • End-to-end ownership: Conceptualized and executed the migration strategy independently, building from scratch.
  • Customer cohorting logic: Developed intelligent, rule-based segmentation of customers based on readiness, blockers, and migration waves.
  • Architecture simulation using dummy data: Built a highly realistic mock environment using Python, validating logic and flows pre-deployment, which minimized production changes and earned senior stakeholder trust.
