  • Core Banking System :
  • Core Banking System (CBS) is networking of branches, which enables Customers to operate their accounts, and avail banking services from any branch of the Bank on CBS network, regardless of where he maintains his account. The customer will no more be the customer of a Branch. He becomes the Bank’s Customer. Thus CBS is a step towards enhancing customer convenience through Anywhere and Anytime Banking.
  • Outward Clearing :
  • Clearing is an arrangement through which a bank exchanges cheques drawn on other banks for those drawn on it. This system provides an easy, systematic, efficient and cost-effective method of clearing cheques. Operations performed at the Branch Bank are referred as Outward Bill Clearing, since the cheque is going out of this branch.
  • RBI introduced the Basel II Norms and Credit Risk Mitigation, which were to be followed by all Indian Banks on a pilot basis starting from April 2006 and online from April 2007. The Risk Weighted Assets module comprised of classification of the Assets of the Bank under various Claim Categories as provided by the RBI and associated a Risk Weight to each and every item under the Asset group and arriving at the Risk Weighted balance. All supporting processing programs and work sheet for each type of accounts and non-fund based items groups were provided for user verification of the final analysis.
