About my Guru (Teacher) : Pandit Shivjee Mishra is a well known name in the field of Kathak Dance in the state of Bihar. He is a loving disciple of Kathak Maestro Padma Vibhushan Late Pandit Birju Maharaj and has been trained under him at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi. Being his daughter as well as disciple, I had been under intensive training of Pandit Shivjee Mishra.

I have performed as a solo dancer as well as lead dancer in various group choreographies under his supervision which were presented at places like Allahabad, Bodhgaya, Vaishali, Patna, Lucknow and Kolkata.
