1. Production Management
• Daily Planning: Developing a schedule for how much concrete to produce each day so that supplies to the site are not disrupted.
• Raw Material Inventory: Monitoring stocks of cement, aggregate, sand, and admixtures and placing orders before they run out.
• Mix Design Implementation: Preparing materials in the correct proportions according to the design provided by the Quality Control team.
• Waste Control: Minimizing wastage during production.
2. Maintenance Management
• Preventive Maintenance: Instead of waiting for a machine to break down, perform periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) check-ups and servicing.
• Breakdown Repair: If the plant stops working, repair it immediately to avoid production loss.
• Spare Parts Inventory: Always keep essential parts like sensors, belts, and filters on hand.
• Calibration: Weighing scales and sensors must be accurate, so have them calibrated regularly.
3. Team and Safety Management
• Supervision: Leading and monitoring the work of operators, helpers, and drivers.
• Safety Standards: Ensuring plant safety rules (such as the use of PPE kits) are followed to prevent accidents.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining daily production reports, logbooks, and maintenance charts.
4. Quality Control
• Ensuring that the concrete produced meets client requirements and strength standards (IS Codes).
