• Aviation Security related duties (Screening, Profiling, Surveillance, Cargo Security, Catering Security, Aircraft Security etc.)

I have been posted for major part (June 2009 to March 2023) at Bagdogra Airport which is categorized as Hypersensitive.

During the tenure at Bagdogra Airport, I had been the senior most staff after our Station Security Head and beside aiding SSH to deliver his day to day functioning also have acted as Station Security Head in many occasions.

· Report to Regional Security Head of on day-to-day basis.

· Looking after for administrative functioning at the station

· Ensuring strict implementation of all laid down security procedures.

· Dissemination of Circulars / Orders, Instructions and other Security information to all concerned on need-to-know basis.

· Ensuring strict compliance of orders / guidelines / instructions received from HQs / RSH.

· Updating RSH on monthly basis about training status to Ensure that all Security personnel in the station are appropriately trained in AVSEC, DGR, SMS, Fire, etc. and their refresher / recurrent training is valid.

· Prompt reporting of incidents relating to the operational security and airline operations in the station.

· Timely processing of AEP Applications, and like to mention that Air India was the first airline at Bagdogra to be issued Biometric AEP’s.

· Co-ordinating with Law enforcement agencies with other departments and operationally relevant external entities to meet airline operational requirements.

· Attending Airport Security Committee meeting and other meeting pertaining to aviation security.

· Carried out surprise / dummy checks to check the alertness of Security Staff.

· Carried out investigations in response to passengers or any other complains.

· Ensuring proper handling and utilization of Security equipment’s. And reporting to RSH in case of u/s or requirements of equipment’s

· Provided security services to chartered / non-scheduled aircrafts. Documentations and billing.

· Up to date maintenance of all prescribed records related to various security functions.

· Have Been part of many mock drills and also received a token of appreciation from NSG for assisting them in one of the anti-hijacking mock drills involving Air India Aircraft

· Faced almost all audits pertaining to Security at Bagdogra. In case of any findings, carried out root cause analysis and timely submitted the Action Taken Report.

· Ensuring root cause analysis and submit Action Taken Report (ATR) to concerned RSH in response to Audits / Inspections and will ensure compliance of action as submitted in the ATR.

• Accompanying tourists as a Guide in Darjeeling & Sikkim

• Retail sale of medicine
• Maintaining Medicine Stock
