Champions of BDFA Super Division League 2023-24:
Unbeaten in the Bangalore Super Division League with 19 teams emerging as champions
Reliance Youth Development League - Qualified as zonal winners and finished group toppers in the final group stage and lost in semi finals.
Achievements:
Finished 3rd in the group stage with Japan and Uzbekistan finishing 1st & 2nd.
Defeated Maldives(5-0),Kuwait(3-0),Myanmar(4-1) & loss to Saudi(1-2) and finished 2nd to qualify for ASIAN CUP,Thailand.
Beat Bhutan(3-0),loss to Nepal(1-3) beat Bangladesh in semi finals(2-1) and beat Nepal (4-0) in the finals.
Restarted the camp in Goa adhering to the government protocols to prepare for exposure trip in Dubai, to prepare for the AFC U-16 Championship which was to be held in Bahrain 2020. Oversaw a successful exposure in Dubai overcoming challenging conditions due to the outbreak of CoVID-19.
Coached the India U-16 team during the AFC U-16 Qualifiers held in Uzbekistan in September 2019 and secured qualification to the AFC U-16 Championship that was supposed to be held in Bahrain in 2020.
Remained unbeaten in the group stage - Turkmenistan(5-0), Bahrain(5-0), Uzbekistan(1-1). Qualified as group leaders first time in history - was to play South Korea, Australia & Uzbekistan. (Cancelled due to Covid-19)
Won against Nepal (5-0), Bhutan (7-0), Sri Lanka (5-0) and Bangladesh (4-0). Defeated Nepal (7-0) to lift the SAFF U-15 trophy after a gap of 2 years
The team dominated the tournament by scoring 28 goals while conceding none from 5 matches.
India U-16 team that reached the quarterfinals of the AFC U-16 Championship after a gap of 16 years.
Remained unbeaten in the group stages, Vietnam (1-0),Iran (0-0) & Indonesia (0-0).
Qualified as the runners up before going down to a Korea Republic side (1-0).
Remained unbeaten in the 3 games in the group phase - Palestine (3-0),Nepal (2-2) and Iraq (0-0)
Emerged as the champions of the 4-Nations Invitational U-17 tournament,defeating Chinese Taipei (4-0), Singapore (3-1) and Hong Kong (4-2) to top the table and be crowned champions
Defeated Jordan(4-0),loss Japan(1-2),beat Iraq(1-0), beat Yemen (3-0),finishing runner up of the tournament.
Emerged as the champions of the 4-Nations Invitational U-16 tournament,defeated Jordan (2-1), Tajikistan (4-2) & Serbia (0-0) to top the table and be crowned champions.
Defeated Maldives (9-0) & Nepal (2-1) in the group stages, Bhutan (3-0) in the semifinals and Nepal (2-1) in the finals
Qualified for the knock-out stages at GFA U-16 Tournament
