• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections on electrical systems (wiring, panels, circuit breakers,Motor, and transformers) to identify wear and prevent failures
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices (voltmeters, ohmmeters) and repair or replace defective components quickly.
• Electric motor maintenance:

Isolate Power: Turn off the supply and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Visually Inspect: Check the terminal box, cooling fins, and fan cover for physical damage or accumulated dirt.

Winding Resistance: Use a digital multimeter or ohmmeter to measure the resistance of each winding pair. The resistance of all three phases should be nearly identical (imbalance should be < 2%).

• Insulation Resistance: Use a megohmmeter (megger) to test for ground faults and track winding degradation.
• Earthing Check: Confirm the earth connection is secure and resistance is within safe standard limits.
• Terminal Tightness: Open the terminal box and inspect for loose connections, heating marks, or corrosion; retighten all lugs.
• Transformer maintenance:
• Terminal Boxes: Open terminal boxes to check for connection tightness, discoloration, and signs of overheating.
• Bushings: Manually clean High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) bushings using a soft cotton cloth and inspect for chips or cracks.

Earthing System: Measure the resistive value of earth connections and risers using a clamp-on earth resistance meter.

• Cooling Systems: Clean the external transformer tank, radiators, and valves. Ensure cooling fans and pumps are operational.
• Buchholz & Pressure Relief: Test the alarm and trip contacts of the Buchholz relay and Pressure Release Device (PRD) by shorting them to verify functionality in the remote panel.
• Marshalling Box: Clean the marshalling box from the inside. Verify that illumination and space heaters function properly.
• Relays & Alarms: Clean and tighten all terminal connections of control and relay wiring.
• Insulation Resistance (IR): Use a battery-operated 5 kV megger to test the IR value and Polarization Index (PI).
• Turns Ratio & Resistance: Perform routine transformer tests—such as winding resistance and magnetic balance tests—to ensure structural integrity.
• Maintained street lights: enhancing visibility and safety in public areas.
• Cleaned LED lenses, reflectors, and solar panels to ensure optimal light output and efficiency.
• Secured necessary work permits prior to starting tasks in process areas or tank farms, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Executed installation of electrical systems across residential and commercial facilities.
• Tested performance of in-development parts, assemblies and systems under simulated operating conditions to optimize plans.
• Assembled and tested components, wiring and systems, locating and correcting faults to optimize production results.
• Tested circuitry and electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals or knowledge of electronics.
• Inspected electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
