Trained all manpower for Toll operations as per set procedures (operational, collection and financial). Ensure safe and smooth traffic flow through the toll plazas. Review, Approve and Maintain time sheets, leave requests, disciplinary actions and other reports for subordinate personnel. Detect and solve problems or disputes in the areas of personnel, customer services, office equipment’s, toll booths, computer hardware and software maintenance and building maintenance. Maintain an efficient leadership hierarchy and chain of communication to subordinate supervisors and through them to toll personnel and security staff. Preparing & compiling various daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports pertaining to process, and productivity. Check toll booths and plaza area for cleanliness and functional operation; transportation of money vaults, supplies and other items as required. Managing and effectively using the human resources available, maintaining shift statistics to ensure efficiency in process operations. Taking care of safety and security measures of plaza & toll booths. Taking necessary steps after reviewing security frisking/ confidential security reports on daily basis. Coordinating with District Administration, Police, Labour Office, Judiciary, NHAI, local Panchayats and Elected Representatives as well. Helping and supporting inquiries of all administrative/security related issues. Solving employee-related problems in accordance with the best interests of the organization and the employee. Conducting regular cash handling reviews with staff to improve cash handling process. Setting up and maintain files for staff schedules, leave management, preparing payroll documentation requirements. Keep an eye on the complete operation of toll plaza to provide accountability of revenues, accurate traffic counts, security of funds and facilities, and proper allocation of personnel resources. Checking the processing of toll revenues and their transfer to the banking institution in order to properly account for toll revenues. Checking the processing of Fastag revenues, Blacklist Transaction update, Decline Transaction, Pending fastag amounts and their Reconsolidation & transfer to the banking institution in order to properly account for Fastag revenues. Assigning and training subordinate employees, scheduling work, recommending leave, reviewing work for accuracy, performance appraisal, interviewing applicants for position vacancies. Coordinate the operation of the toll collection equipment with equipment vendor to ensure proper functioning and repair. Interact with other agencies and the public to investigate and resolve problems and unusual occurrences in a timely manner. To ensure that the Signboards, Fee Exempt Boards & User Fee Boards are displayed as per standard lay down.
