Veero Rear Axle, Mahindra - As an Application Engineer for the UPP G2 rear axle project with Mahindra and Mahindra, I played a pivotal role in the root cause analysis of development failures. Responsibilities included detailed problem-solving and troubleshooting, direct communication with the customer to understand their needs, and providing critical input for 3D modeling to ensure alignment with their requirements.
Z121 Rear Axle, Mahindra - As an Application Engineer for the Z121 rear axle initiative, provided essential technical insights derived from Mahindra & Mahindra’s specifications, oversee the selection of axle models, and serve as the principal liaison for customer engagement. Orchestrated hypoid gear life assessments, contribute to advanced 3D modeling, and refine axle weight. Furthermore, conducted design reviews with a global team to establish testing criteria for new components and evaluate engineering and tooling expenditures. The project remains in progress, with ongoing enhancements and strategic adjustments.
Z121 Propeller Shaft, Mahindra - As an Application Engineer for the Z121 propeller shaft project, adeptly utilized Mahindra & Mahindra’s specifications to compute and select the most suitable propeller shaft series. Meticulously compiled a list of new development components and introduced a pioneering design, a first for our company, tailored to optimize vehicle performance. Single-handedly led technical design discussions on behalf of our company, orchestrating and chairing global design reviews to finalize the design, evaluate engineering and tooling costs, and establish a rigorous testing protocol. Additionally, crafted the design verification plan and am actively exploring innovations to achieve weight reduction.
Ace HT LnT, Tata Motors - A new project of Tata Motors where, on behalf of the DAIPL technical group, I faced the customer and served as the primary point of contact for any technical transaction. I made the rear axle model selection, computed the life of parts, and constructed the test plan with the appropriate list of new development parts. Meticulously collaborated with the commercial function to explore weight-optimizing options. Dissemination of 2D and 3D child parts on time to respective suppliers for feasibility studies and technical reviews was also done. Project is on the verge of getting awarded.
