The project focused on developing and evaluating a herbal gel using Clerodendron infortunatum leaf extract. The bioactive compounds were extracted using Soxhlet extraction with 70% ethanol, yielding a 3.6% extract. The formulated gel, which included Carbopol 940 as a gelling agent and propylene glycol as a humectant, was adjusted to a pH of 6.8. Phytochemical screening confirmed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, glycosides, phenolic compounds, terpenoids, steroids, and reducing sugars.
