  • The objective of the project is to develop Train communication network based (TCN) vehicle control unit (VCU) for Indian Railways and it should be compactable with all type of main converter as well as auxiliary converters
  • The first phase was concentrated on goods locomotives (WAG series)
  • After the successful implementation in WAG series, it has to be installed in passenger locomotives (WAP series)
  • Application development for rolling stock using ISAGRAF 5.2(IEC61131)
  • Expertise in Initial programming, processor configuration, QNX image downloading, testing and
  • Loading Rolling stock applications (ISaGRAF) in various Application processor cards
  • Involved in circuit level as well as functional testing and hardware diagnostics of all cards including I/O modules used in VCU
  • Implementation of Multi loco operation for Indian Railways and Configuration of WTB module (FAR Systems) for TCN based VCU
  • Debugging, troubleshooting of various card using automated test programs and conventional methods
