Dynamic professional with experience as a Lifeguard at Nassau Swim Club, where I honed my CPR certification and crowd control skills. As Tiger Café Manager, I excelled in employee management and market analysis, driving operational success. Proven ability to enhance customer service and maintain product appeal in fast-paced environments.
My responsibilities during my time at nassau consisted of maintaining safety of the pool patrons, moving chemicals, working concessions, front desk work, and medical care. Due to being a lifeguard I am First Aid and CPR certified through the Red Cross. Working at Nassau allowed me to build interpersonal skills and allowed me to become more observant and detail oriented.
The Tiger Café Manager position was held through my high school's DECA chapter. I was in charge of both active operations and inactive operations. I ran the Tiger Cafe during operating hours which included stocking, cleaning, register operation, product preparation, and employee management. During non-operating hours I participated in demand and market evaluation including SWOT and PEST analyses, inventory management, and employee evaluation. Extra responsibilities included writing a paper evaluating the market outlooks for the business and presenting these outlooks at a national competition.
I maintained produce stocked to customers during the fall season. My tasks consisted of stocking product, cleaning produce, and register work. Working here allowed me to understand customer wants and the idea of appeal when it comes to selecting product.
