- Lead crews of 2, all the way up to 8 workers to complete all different types of jobs. Those jobs include fiber pulling, directional drilling, aerial, excavation, plowing/trenching, operating a hydro-vac, and concrete/asphalt repair.
- Read and analyzed blueprints to determine placement of fiber optics. The blueprints include easements, wire placements, drilling paths, pole placements and removals, and attachment heights on poles.
- Operated bucket trucks, and climbed with ladders and spikes to access poles to install fiber optics and strand.
- Operated and located for horizontal/directional drilling machines for fiber optic and conduit
- Operated heavy machinery such as skid steers, mini excavators, hydro-vacs, and backhoes for excavation and restoration purposes from fiber optic jobs.
- Saw cutting, jack hammering, and removal of asphalt/concrete to run conduit and fiber into manholes in the road.
- Locating telecommunication lines, water lines, gas lines, sanitary pipes, and storm drains with subsite locators.
