Project Planning & Management

• Dynamic professional offering a rich experience in Green Field/BrownField Projects of Hot Rolling Mills in Steel Plant (5 MTPA Hot Strip Mill) thereby ensuring completion of projects within time & cost frames
• Defining base line integrated schedules (L1/2/3/4), setup project governance mechanism consisting of review and meeting forums, reporting frequencies and formats for both time & cost elements, look ahead schedules, track & trace procurement process of critical packages etc
• Monitoring overall project & ensuring timely completion within approved budget, ensuring optimum utilization & deployment of available resources to achieve organizational objectives
• Prepare CAPEX proposals for approval (by Top Management). Focus on the details of estimates in the proposal and ensure that assumptions are based on the quotes supported by calculations & plant performance data from other units
• Managing project activity planning, scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff management. Monitoring overall project operations & ensuring timely completion, ensuring optimum utilization & deployment of available resources to achieve organizational objectives
• Submission and monitoring of cash flow estimation for complete Project. Evaluate fund availability for required procurement, report deviations to senior leadership and facilitate approval and prepare fund request proposal in case of deviations
• Coordination with engineering consultants for review of engineering status. Evaluation of Vendor & EPC Contractors, Technical Evaluation of Quoted Offer for Engineering Equipment procurement and coordination with procurement team for establishing accurate and timely data with required technical specification. (Cross-functional interfaces with engineering, procurement – materials and various purchase orders, contracts, construction, safety, quality, finance/accounting, planning and document control)
• Material codification, raising PR and floating technical enquiries as per requirements
• Assisting Project head to prepare presentations for various project reviews with business leadership team, prepare project progress reports for various stakeholders for progress against planned schedules and budget

Erection and Commissioning

• Participated in the engineering and grouping of I/O's for preparation of wire list, cable schedules and cable termination details
• Carried out the System Engineering during Project viz Location of

J.B's, Location of control desks, Conducting, Proper cable routing etc

• Supervised the Erection and commissioning of field instruments (Load Cell, Pyrometer, Linear Differential Transducer, HMD etc.) and calibration of control valves, pressure switches, pressure transmitter, Flow transmitter, thermocouples, and resistance temperature detector
• Successful erection and commissioning of RM1, RM2, Gear Lubrication System, Bearing Lubrication System, Descaling System

• Formulating & implementing strategic interventions to enhance capability building in order to ensure high quality standards in all stages of employee life cycle
• Performed need analysis and gathered domain wise talent acquisition requirements for all locations of JSP
• Collaborated & Managed Service Request of Hiring Partner Agency (First Naukri) worth INR 1.96 million to ensure timely acquisition of 450 manpower.

• Worked on Big Data ETL jobs in production support environment using Hive & SQL, HBase.
