Database Support Manager: Have worked in managing database L1 support team with responsibilities such as addressing Alerts, user requests, database deployments, P1/P2 Issues/calls etc. for multiple database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB, Redis.

Database Infrastructure Lead/Manager: Managing database Infrastructure team with responsibilities such as Performing POCs for Patches and Upgrades, Database Builds and Standardizations, Onboarding new database technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Tigergraph) and Infrastructure tools (Oracle - Fleet Patching & Provisioning, Database Vault, Veridata, DSE Cassandra - OpsCentre, MongoDB-OpsManager). Database Modernization Initiative Lead: Currently leading database modernization initiatives as below.

Database Upgrades and EOL: Leading this initiative to make sure all the databases and tools are in supported and at optimum versions. Also responsible to perform regular review and defining benchmark to define the appropriate database version for all the database technologies used.

Database Consolidation: Leading this initiative to review the capacity utilization of current hardware landscape and consolidate as applicable instead of investing in new hardware. This is also addressing Tech-Refresh of expired hardware.

Database Resiliency: Leading this initiative to identify gaps in HA and DR for the tools and infrastructure used and address the same by re-architecturing the databases and applications.

Along with the above, have also been engaged in end-to-end performance management, training and development, team motivation , apprisals, etc.

▪ Role of a Primary application SME, closely working with development and Business teams on various application requirements. This also includes working as a L2/L3 escalation contact for supported applications. Database technologies includes Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.

▪ Working on database builds for Oracle (RAC/RAC One/Standalone), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

▪ Performed HA & DR Configuration and administration activities for Oracle (Dataguard, Goldengate, Streams), Postgres (BSR, MMR), MongoDB (ReplicaSet/Sharded Cluster), Redis (CRDB).

▪ Planning and implementing Backup and Recovery solutions for various database technologies.

▪ Planning and performing application code deployment activities.
