Internal Audit

• Handling Internal Audit across the group for all the 6 verticals
• To Recommend / Suggest / Comment on the gaps identified by Internal Audit and escalate to respective vertical CFO
• In co-ordination with respective vertical , drafting the scope of Internal Audit across the group for all the 6 verticals and to submit to the board for approval of appointment of the Internal Auditor based on relevant sector experience

IFC Implementation

• To check Implementation and progress of Internal Financial control including IFC Testing across the group. Based on Risk control matrix , will recommend to respective vertical to adapt suitable measures to minimize weakness in the areas where controls are not operating effectively

Consolidation of books of Account

• Active team member in consolidation of books at Holding company (80+ companies consolidation)

Direct/ Indirect Tax Compliances

• To oversee Direct / Indirect tax compliances including return filing for few companies in the group

Financial Statements Preparation:

• Preparation of Subsidiary Companies Financials along with Necessary Schedules
• Handling Subsidiary Companies from Accounts to Audit
• Posting of Entries in SAP for both Income / Expense / Assets/ Liabilities
• Review of ledgers , Preparation of Trade Receivables Including Ageing, Preparation of Sundry Creditors Schedules Including Raising of Invoices and Posting in SAP
• Monthly Books Closure along with necessary review of Provisions and prepaid Expenses, Depreciation and ROU Schedules
• Variance Analysis Month on Month for Revenue/ Expenses for MIS Purpose.
• Review of Mutual Funds data sent by Operational team and Raising Invoices in accordance with billing terms after necessary Cross Check with regard to Nature of Fund/ Conversion to Functional Currency/ Assets Under Management / Units Processed / Calculating Net Asset Value and Others.
• Ensuring tax Compliance for Subsidiary Companies.

GST Return Filing:

• Filing of GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B and Other Applicable returns for KFin Technologies Ltd.
• Leading team of Indirect Taxation.
• Extracting the GST Payable ledgers and Receivable ledgers , Performing necessary Revenue Reconciliation and Other ITC Reconciliation.
• Inform back to Necessary support teams, in case of any discrepancies.
• Review of All Workings before Filing Return and Hands on experience in Filing Returns through Third Party Platforms.

Financial Analysis

• Analyzing current and past trends in Key Financial and Non-Financial indicators in all areas of revenue and expenses; Coordinating with other members of the Finance Team to review financial information and forecasts
• Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis; producing MIS reports, which include key metrics, preparation of budgets, financial results, and variance reporting in terms of both financial & non-financial parameters
• Conversant with respect all types of ledgers, GST and Customer Account Reconciliations; performing Ageging Analysis, Fund Management and open to uncover other areas at relevant times

Taxation

• Recommending tax strategies that align with business goals; determining tax savings and recommending strategies to improve profits
• Preparing tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports; evaluating tax regulations and suggesting policies that diminish tax burden
• Keeping track of industry trends and changes related to taxes; assessing difficult tax issues and identifying solutions for the same

GST Returns

• Advising, supporting and reviewing statutory matters related to GST including preparation & filing of the returns
• Counselling internal and external stakeholders on GST law provision and the company’s product features
• Working on other statutory compliance like Income Tax (TDS) and so on; filing GST refunds and receiving invoices on GST from other concerned departments

Audits

• Coordinating and developing various auditing processes; developing and implementing policies and procedures; preparing Periodical Forecasts
• Contribution in migration & merging process; supervising and conducting independent audits; drafting recommendations on corrective measures
• Coordinating with the management to take necessary action on audit findings; integrating best practices and systems into the audit programs
