Company Overview: Olam Information Services Limited (OISL)(rebranded as Mindsprint now) is the captive IT unit of Olam International Limited, a Fortune 500 enterprise engaged in Agri, Food Processing and FMCG business. MindSprint focuses entirely on IT function for Olam’s businesses across the world.

Implementation Projects:

  • Olam Food Ingredients Vietnam.
  • Olam Food Ingredients Vietnam Limited is based out of one of the Olam Group. OFIV Process the Raw Cashew & Macadamia and sells products for business and consumer markets. As part of S4 HANA Transformation Team I am working as a Product Costing Consultant and handled the below activities.
  • Identifying the list of configurations such as number of costing variants, valuation variants, costing types to be used for Legal and Group Valuation.
  • Other basic CO configurations like WIP analysis, Variance Analysis, Material ledger setup, settlement profile in product cost controlling.
  • Combination of costing required for Forecasting Model of standard costing.
  • MM – FI , FI – SD and FI – PP integration Configurations.
  • Participating in design decision for the given business model for standard costing and actual costing.
  • Designed Standard costing Automation for current and future periods.
  • Overhead allocation to production order and for standard costing through SKFs and Template allocation.
  • Interacting with Business for requirements and Preparing Workflow , workings and RICEFWs for GAP reports relating to costing analysis.
  • Managing Cutover preparation reports.
  • Done POC for Actual costing from creation of routing to production order creation till Actual Costing Run.
  • Preparing WRICEFfs (Functional Specs) for various processes and Reports in the project under costing module such as BOM, Mixed costing, Forecasting and automatic materials selection during costing and etc..
  • Have been part of SAP implementation for Olam Vietnam, Olam Indonesia, and Olam BT Cocoa. Works handled include:
  • Requirement gathering, finalizing KDS and preparing Business Blueprint.
  • Creating Functional specifications for configurations and ABAP developments.
  • Doing unit testing and integration testing in Development client.
  • Training the users with functionalities of SAP, ensure proper user testing in Quality client.
  • Creation master data, cut-over and data migration activities.
  • Coordinating with other module teams to ensure tight integration of FI and CO with MM, PP and SD modules.
  • Rolled out Closing Cockpit for month close steps for about 80 company codes.
  • Rolled out Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Template Allocation for multiple plants.

Support Projects:

  • Have been SAP support consultant for Asia origins (India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia), New Zealand and handled the following works:
  • Several Company code roll-outs and done the Basic configurations, handover after Hyper-care support.
  • Raised Configurations , handled ABAP Change Objects , creation of customized Transaction for MEIS and query.
  • Trained Freshers on topics such as Host to Host, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Objects, Asset, Product Costing, Overhead Absorption and Actual Costing to name few.
  • Conducted User training in FICO and explained various users on actual costing Flow, Price Difference Analysis, Forex Revaluation and processes requested.
  • Leading the team in resolving day to day FICO End-user issues ranging from issues related to FI, Host to Host and CO.
  • Month End Support involving major Controlling Activities, Forex translation, Forex Revaluation until Books Submission for all APAC origins and prompt resolving of issues.
  • New Manufacturing Plant configurations with end to end testing and result verification.
  • Successfully done minor projects related to Asset Accounting, Parallel ledger implementation
  • Rolled out COPA planning as part of SOP rollout.
  • Providing month end support necessary for timely closure of SAP material ledger and BPC upload by business
