Uses the AS400 system for transaction processing and maintenance of Ordering and Invoicing processes across different markets; different instances for Singapore, Japan, Dubai, South Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to drive design, development and testing of Problem records and Change Requests.
• Manage deployment activities and post-implementation (PIV) support to ensure smooth releases.
• Prepare technical documentation and present Changes during CAB meetings.
• Implement V2V integration to enable ordering across multiple markets.
• Design and configure automated report distribution for users and dealers based on business requirements.
• Support price upload processes and ensure accurate pricing workflows within the system.
• Review code and mentor team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Implement alerts and monitoring mechanisms to track job execution and proactively handle errors.
• Update master and transaction files to resolve user-reported issues and introduce preventive validations to avoid recurring defects.
• Provide on-call support for batch jobs and proactively fix recurring job failures
• Handle Incidents and Service catalog tasks, provide timely RCA and fixes, and collaborate with SL and Business teams to define optimal resolutions.

Project: Canadian Imperial Bank Of Commerce

Domain: Banking

Uses the AS400 system for transaction processing and maintenance for the life of the mortgage, starting with mortgage setup and advancing throughout to payout/discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, designing, coding, and testing for problem records and project intakes.
• DIT, SIT, and UAT support; implementation and PIV (Health Checkup) support.
• Produce technical documents, conduct walkthroughs, and get sign-offs.
• Developments related to Annual Mortgage Statements, Auto Rebalancing Projects, LFAs, and other mortgage servicing-related enhancements.
• Custom APIs for seamless integration with third-party services, expanding application functionality, and compatibility.
• Review and mentor other team members.
• Put alerts in place to monitor job completion errors.

Projects: Future Generali and TATA AIA

Domain: Life Insurance

Uses AS400 system- ALDON for processing transactions and maintenance of Insurance Data.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering; analysis of existing set up and provide viable solution; effort estimation.
• Providing RCA and fixes.
• Preparing Functional and Technical documents.
• Enhancements related to claims, loans and contract servicing endorsements.
• Implemented quality control processes throughout entire product development lifecycle, resulting in reduction of defects and returns.
• Worked on Subfiles, Report, Screen design, FTP and BOs. and MQs.

Project: ICICI Prudential

Domain: Life Insurance

Uses SMART AS400 (LIFEASIA) system for processing transactions and maintenance of Insurance Data.

Responsibilities:

• New Life Insurance product setup; enhancements in existing products; claim processing and other contract servicing related developments.
• Unit testing; UAT and SIT support.
• Production support; provide RCA and fix for same.
• Month end and batch support, DDU and deployment activities.
• Documentation of Technical documents.
• Worked on Subfiles, Report, Screen design and BOs.
