Nationwide Building Society Project: Banking Domain

• Leading end-to-end enterprise Banking data platform migration from SSIS to a modern Databricks Lakehouse with dbt. Reengineering legacy transformations into scalable, high-performance ELT pipelines using Spark and dbt, enhancing reliability, efficiency, and reusability of enterprise data assets.
• In my project, complex stored procedures were used to build data marts, which were then utilized in finance reports. Whenever an enhancement was introduced, we had to analyze all the marts to check for potential impacts. This manual analysis used to take around two weeks. To optimize the process, I developed SQL scripts that automated the impact analysis for specific scenarios, such as changes related to product codes, company names, or process modifications. By sharing these scripts with other developers, the analysis time was significantly reduced.
• Migrated the entire application from SSIS to a DBT model. The migration process began with analyzing 50 interdependent SSIS packages to identify input/output data, data sources, SQL procedures, views, and functions. Created a comprehensive metadata file capturing these details, which served as the foundation for building the DBT models. The data was stored in Databricks, while transformations were implemented in DBT Cloud. (GMIS application: handles mortgage data).
• Developed monitoring reports to track employee hybrid working patterns, improving visibility and workforce management.
• Resolved high‑priority production issues across SQL, SSIS, SSRS, DBT, and Databricks pipelines by performing root‑cause analysis and implementing live environment fixes, minimizing downtime.
• Migrated Python processes to DBT models for the mortgage application, handling complex transformation logic and ensuring accurate data flow understanding during the migration.
• Designing incremental and full-load ELT ingest on frameworks for structured and semi-structured data (XML, JSON, CSV).
• Implementing SCD Type 1/2 models, snapshots, and optimized incremental strategies to support historical and regulatory reporting needs.
• Developing reusable dbt macros and standardized modeling frameworks to accelerate migration and ensure consistency.
• Maintained existing Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, timely data refresh, and reliable performance.
• Performed regular data validations to ensure reports reflected correct business logic and up‑to‑date metrics.

SAP concur Project : Finance Domain

• Led the development of 10 databases for multiple applications.
• Worked in Agile Scrum Methodology with daily stand up, review, retrospective and planning meetings.
• Automated the complex revenue analysis instead of manual work to reduce time consumption on routine activities. Automated the deployment process using bat file.
• Monitored Strategies, process and procedure to ensure the data integrity, optimized and reduce the data redundancy, maintain the required level of security for all the test and prod servers.
• Involved in the Quarterly SOX Audit meeting to make sure end user doesn't have permission to manipulate the data in the prod servers.
• Migrated the SSIS packages from Visual studio 2015 to Visual studio 2019.
• Implemented the SQL agent jobs to send mail notification with attachment to the end user when the process fails.
• Having knowledge on python and involved in resolving issues related to python applications.
• Used Github application to maintain & manage source code.

• Expertise in writing T-sql Queries, Dynamic Queries, Sub Queries and Complex joins for generating the Store Procedures, Triggers, User defined functions, Views and cursor. Skilled in error handling.
