Regulatory Trade Reconciliation and Regulatory Controls

• The duties include performing daily review and reconciliation of the reportable trades to ensure compliance with CFTC/HKMA/JFSA/ASIC trade reporting regulations and including accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data reported
• Indepth check of the trades underreported and overreported to ensure that the regulatory obligations are met and are as per the defined guidelines.
• Set up various control prospective as part of reconciliation i.e. feed file checks, Output reports
  checks, 3-way reconciliation, JIRA.
• Producing the weekly and monthly metrics around trade data and issues
• Assisting with UAT process and testing changes that have been developed by the team
• Involved in handling client queries,to streamline the process and documents update
• Co-ordinating with Front office team & trade flow support teams to ensure that the trade discrepancies are resolved and trades are reconciled and reported on time
• Effectively communicating with key stakeholders informing management about the progress, challenges and required business needs.
• Being a crucial part of team at the time of on boarding, grasped the opportunity to learn end-to-end process which added value to the learning and development.
• Identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems.

Client Valuation Reconcilation & Reporting

• Performed Portfolio auditing which involved overseeing daily operational activities of a client, and ensuring all the financial accounting records on systems are accurate
• Calculating daily/monthly return on client profiles split on nature of investments and assessing it against market returns
• Assessing accuracy of financial activity on system data base and generating monthly/yearly statements
• Presenting customized reports to account managers
• Performing reconciliations on Excel while researching potential accounting breaks
• Assessing large amounts of financial data to evaluate portfolio status, and create formal year end reports on the client’s investment position.

Record To Report

• Performing Bank Reconciliation
• Making weekly reports, analyzing and communicating the result to the clients
• Supporting and coordinating with different teams for different aspects
• Responsible for bank downloads and the issues related with client’s bank
• Continuous interaction with Senior teams for fixing and fulfilling the needs
• Preparing Financial Statements and Generating Reports.
