Toorak Capital operates in the space of mortgage-backed securities, where real estate companies and brokers sell the loans using the software technology platform that we created.

• Currently, I oversee the $5 million-budgeted engineering team, building it ground up, comprising a team of engineering manager, principal engineer, product manager, and data manager, instilling processes, defining the architecture, and delivering large initiatives that cover various aspects of the loan buying process.
• Delivered a borrower platform built from scratch as a multi-tenant solution built on the AWS cloud based on microservice architecture that is white-labelled and deployed to multiple loan-originating customers. This multi-tenant platform is deployed by 20 different loan originators who use it to service loans for end customers.
• Defined multiple work flows using Orkes/Conductor open source to make the entire business process customisable and reusable, giving the flexibility of having processes that can be defined on the fly with minimal code change.
• Improved the efficiency of the shadow due diligence team by reducing the time taken to do document review by deploying an AI/ML model that would tag, split, and extract data from the documents. The overall effectiveness of document review went down from 4 hours to 20 minutes for each closing package.
• Successfully delivered multiple large features built into the platform for different business requirements, like tape to file, table funding, custody documents, and appraisal reports.

I managed a team of 24 people for an Intuit Quick Books Point of Sale product that uses the Intuit Payment Gateway System.

Spread-heading the release features right from Inception , Prototype for the following features

• Webgility Integration
• Contactless card for Lane 5000 Pin Pad ,
• Mandatory patch update.

Some of my responsibilities were

• Managing the team and clearing them of all blockers.
• Interacting with PM's, Care, and Marketing on various issues and features.
• Third-party interaction and integration
• Webgility Company for integration
• Chase and Merchant Link for contactless certification
• Ingenico for contactless pin pads
• Tracking Release time lines.

• I managed an engineering team working on cloud, mobile, web, and desktop for dev, QA, and devops.
• Enabled the migration of some of the desktop features, like document storage, the download of bank transactions, and the budgeting feature, from the desktop to the cloud.
• Integrated with a third-party bill payment app to enable payment of bills within the Quicken application.
• Integrated with a third-party credit score application to be able to do a soft pull and a hard pull of credit score for the end users.

• Quick Books in a Financial Accounting So ware Led the team to enable In-product renewal of subscription , buying of features by integrating with EIS which was a shopping cart like feature that was built on Intuit private cloud.
• Successful delivery of First time upgraders (FTU) owning the entire initiative end to end and leading the technical team.
• Defensive publication of the FTU framework (http://ip.com/IPCOM/000220176)
• Did an end to end integration of push notification on Android phones by integrating with notification mechanism built on Intuit Private Cloud.

• Managed the implementation of the Custom page lay out for FX options business.
• Managed a team to identify performance bottlenecks in running the application in a Citrix Meta frame.
• Designed and implemented the trade history and trade summary features.
• Researched and designed the feature that enables the user to see trade prices using a custom keyboard display and supporting different flavors of the application.

• Involved in maintenance and bug fixing of reporting system soware.

• Worked on GSE ( Group Sheild Exchange ) which is an anti virus plugin for Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Worked on EPO (Electronic Policy Orchestra-tor) for pushing updates to the McAfee engines running on a system.

• Designed and developed Resource container on the basis of COM+ Object Pooling for resource container.
• Evaluated the application server so ware to make it cluster aware and coordinated with multiple sites and tracked development efforts for the same.
• Developed running multiple versions of the product out of the same box.
