Warehouse Packer
- Order Picking & Packing:- Pick items accurately from shelves, racks, or storage locations according to order lists or system instructions. Verify product codes, sizes, and quantities before packing. Pack products carefully using suitable packing materials such as cartons, bubble wrap, foam, and stretch film to prevent damage during handling and transportation. Ensure packing quality meets company standards before sealing cartons or parcels.
- Product Inspection:- Inspect products thoroughly for damage, defects, leakage, or quality issues before packing. Separate damaged, expired, or incorrect items from usable stock. Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately and follow replacement procedures.
- Labeling & Documentation:- Attach correct shipping labels, barcodes, fragile stickers, and order tags to each package. Cross-check labels with packing slips, invoices, and order details to avoid dispatch errors. Update packing lists, delivery notes, and warehouse records manually or through the warehouse management system.
- Dispatch & Coordination:- Move packed orders safely to the dispatch or loading area using proper handling methods. Sort parcels according to delivery routes and priority schedules. Assist in loading parcels onto delivery vehicles while following safe lifting techniques. Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch teams, and delivery staff to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Inventory Support:- Assist with stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory verification tasks. Monitor daily usage of packing materials such as cartons, tapes, labels, and wrapping supplies. Keep packing materials well organized and inform supervisors in advance when stock levels are low.
- Equipment Handling:- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trolleys, tape dispensers, weighing scales, and barcode scanners. Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
- Meeting Daily Targets:- Meet daily packing targets while maintaining high accuracy and quality. Work efficiently during peak periods to support warehouse operations.
